State’s Housing Cost Jumps Again

Another record high has been reached… for housing in California. A real estate information service says the median price of houses and condos in the state surged to $335,000 last month. That´s an increase of 3.4 percent over the previous month… and a 19 percent jump… from December 2002.

Also, the pace of sales last month was the highest it´s been since 1988. The DataQuick service says almost 5,800 new and resale homes were sold in December… in California.
