Motorcycle Crash Injures Camino Woman

A 50-year-old El Dorado County woman sustained moderate injuries Sunday when she lost control of her motorcycle while driving on Highway 49 south of the Amador County line.

According to the California Highway Patrol, Sandra Moak of Camino was driving her Harley-Davidson when the wheel of her sidecar went off the road on a curve. Moak panicked, and her motorcycle ran off the east side of the road, hit an embankment and overturned.

Moak was taken to Memorial Medical Center in Modesto, where she was listed in fair condition Monday.
