Tuolumne County Sheriffs Department deputies investigating a possible assault early this morning.
Emergency and law enforcement personnel called out before 6 a.m. this morning to Wards Ferry Road five-miles from Highway 120 near Groveland.
A partially clothed woman was discovered wandering along the roadway there. She told authorities at the scene she was the victim of a sexual assault, she was treated at the scene by paramedics.
