Diesel Clean Up Continues at Suisun Marsh

The smell of diesel fuel is still strong near the Suisun Marsh duck club, where as much as 60-thousand gallons of the stuff spilled last month.

There are 85 people working 6 a-m to 6 p-m on the clean up effort.

The Kinder Morgan pipe leaked diesel fuel on April 27th.

The fuel stayed in a 242-acre diked area of the Drake Sprig duck club.

Cleanup crews dig trenches to get diesel fuel that has seeped below the surface.

The orange fuel is then sucked out by a vacuum truck through a hose.
