Air tankers at the Columbia Air Attack base were called to a wildfire in the Tuolumne area yesterday afternoon but were not needed.
Firefighters responded just after 2 p.m. yesterday to Tuolumne Road North at Mi Wu Street near the Rancheria to battle a brush fire.
That fire blackened about an 1/2 acre and was quickly handled but ground crews and a CDF helicopters
