Copperopolis, CA — A Copperopolis man is facing several charges after a traffic stop yesterday.
Calaveras County Sheriff´s Deputies say 48-year-old Gary Santos was stopped last night for an equipment violation.
He was also found to be driving with a suspended license. Deputies say during an inventory of the vehicle prior to being towed, a plastic bag containing methamphetamine was found on the seat.
Santos was arrested and booked on charges of possession of a controlled substance and driving with a suspended drivers license.
