Sonora, CA — The Tuolumne County Public Works Department has announced the closure of Clarks Fork Road for the winter.
Road Supervisor Ray Ingalls says the closure will save the county time and expense in keeping the road maintained while Highway 108 remains open to Kennedy Meadows.
Ingalls says CalTrans is expected to bring the 108 closure point down to Snow Park when conditions dictate.
Public Works will close the gate to the road Friday.
