San Andreas, CA — Hiring a Washington D.C. lobbyist during last year´s tight budget has paid off for Calaveras County officials.
The Ferguson Group came through with $2 million for county roads from the federal budget.
Monday, the Board of Supervisors discussed the funding and decided to keep its contract with Ferguson for another year.
Like last year, the county will come up with a list for five or six projects for Ferguson to seek earmarks for federal funding.
