San Andreas, CA — A 56-year-old Sonora man is recovering from injuries after a motorcycle crash in Calaveras County Sunday.
CHP says Dennis Cowden was riding a 2005 Harley Davidson on Church Hill Road Near Pool Station Road south of San Andreas at about 11:15.
Officers say Cowden apparently experienced a medical problem that caused him to lose consciousness and drive the bike off the roadway.
A police report indicates that Cowden was transported to Mark Twain Hospital before being air-lifted to Memorial North in Modesto.
A passenger on the motorcycle, 59-year-old Sharon Beuttler sustained minor injuries.
