San Andreas, CA — An Angels Camp man is uninjured after a scary experience at the Calaveras County Airport Friday afternoon.
Officials say 39-year-old Casey Long was attempting to take off in his Cessna 185 just after 4:30 when the right wing of the aircraft was caught by wind shear.
Casey reportedly experienced a problem with the plane´s brake that caused the aircraft to veer off of the runway and into an open field.
The plane was seriously damaged, but Casey and his three passengers emerged from the incident without injury.
