Woman Dies In Late Night Columbia Wreck

A Sonora woman was killed late Monday night when she hit a tree south of Columbia.

62-year-old Rosalind Holst was southbound on Parrotts Ferry Road, at 11:55pm Monday night, when the road curved left, according to the California Highway Patrol. Holst failed to follow the curve in the road, says the CHP, and hit a tree off the west edge of the roadway. Holst suffered fatal injuries in the accident.
