Tuolumne Considers Land Acquisition Next To Bypass

The Tuolumne County Planning Commission meets next Wednesday to discuss the possible acquisition of land adjacent to the Sonora bypass.

Planning Commission members will consider whether acquiring the two-and-a-half acre parcel on the east and west sides of the bypass is consistent with the county´s General Plan. The land would be used for slope and drainage improvements associated with the new bypass. The Commission will also conduct a study session to discuss architectural designs for East Sonora. The meeting takes place in the County Administration Center and starts at 7 p.m.
