US Sen. Dianne Feinstein has a running start in the popularity poll in her upcoming re-election bid according to a statewide Field Poll that was released Tuesday morning.
Fifty-three percent of respondents said they would re-elect the Democratic senator in 2006. Feinstein has already raised more than $3 million to campaign for a third six year term.
