SAN FRANCISCO (AP) __ San Francisco has been chosen as the safest city in the United States. The city tied for the 25th safest city in the world — sharing the honor with Honolulu.
Luxembourg took the global top honor in the survey of safe cities conducted by Mercer Human Resource Consulting. The safety survey evaluated 215 locations for crime levels and internal stability.
