Some Speed Limits In Tuolumne County May Change

The Tuolumne County Board of Supervisors will be considering changing some of the speed limits from 45 and 40 mph down to 35 mph.

The supervisors will discuss these changes at their regularly scheduled meeting Tuesday at 9:00 am.

There is a consideration of establishing a 45 mph speed limit between State Route 108 and Cedar Springs Road, and changing the existing 45 mph speed limit to 35 mph between Cherokee Road north of Carter Street.

Another item on the agenda for tomorrow is posting new speed limit signs on Longeway Road establishing a speed limit of 40 mph between Hunts Road and Soulsbyville Road and 35 mph between Hunts Road and Big Hill Road.

Speed limits on the County Maintained portion of Mono Way will also be discussed.
