San Jose, CA — The husband charged in the Wendy´s chili finger case delayed entering a plea Tuesday in San Jose while his attorney reviews more than 400 pages of police records and other evidence.

Jaime Placencia was arraigned last week on felony charges for allegedly buying a severed finger to create a lawsuit against the fast food chain.

His next scheduled court appearance is June 8th.

Placencia is accused with his wife, Anna Ayala, of conspiracy to file a false charge and attempted grand theft with excessive damages, meaning they sought to extract a large amount of money from Wendy´s.
