Arnold, Ca — A Chevy SUV has driven over the embankment on Highway 4, approximately one mile east of Arnold.
The accident was reported at 12:18pm this afternoon. According to the CHP, the vehicle ended 100 feet down off the roadway when it eventually came to a rest.
An ambulance was dispatched to the scene. There is not yet a report as to whether there were any serious injuries involved.
A CHP official reports that the accident has not disrupted traffic flow in the area. The CHP advises that drivers travel with caution today, as there are some slippery roads in the higher elevations.
