Calaveras, CA– Those planning on traveling on Highway 88 may wish to take an alternate route.
According to Cal Trans, chains or snow tires are required about six miles east of Peddler Hill to Silver Lake. Chains are required past Silver Lake and CHP units are on scene. Please use caution in the area.
