Hazardous Tree Removal In Twain Harte

Twain Harte, Ca — Some residents in Twain Harte will be without electric, phone and cable services Thursday.

A PG&E contractor will be removing a dead pine tree at 23166 Tuolumne Drive. PG&E, Comcast and SBC will drop select lines during the duration of the operation. A PG&E official reports it will affect 26 of their customers. They are expecting an outage of services between 8:30am to 3:00pm. Residents that will be affected have been contacted.

Nancy Longmore with the California Department of Forestry says the tree posed a fire hazard. Every year the CDF responds to numerous land fires caused by tree limbs contacting electrical transmission and distribution wires.
