Students At Columbia College Will View The Autumn Skies

Columbia, CA– Those registered to attend Columbia College´s Exploration of Autumn Skies Saturday, should dress warmly.

Participants will have the opportunity to view planets and deep sky objects at the Columbia College observatory from 7:30 to 10:30pm. Officials say they will be able to observe the autumn night skies through 14 inch and smaller telescopes at the campus observatory.

Students are permitted to attend assuming they register by the end of today and are enrolled in the college´s community education class on astronomy. The cost is $22 per person. For more information, call 588-5144.
