San Francisco, CA — The F-B-I says it is monitoring the tainted spinach situation, but a spokesman calls it a routine and precautionary measure, not an indication of suspicious activity.
A San Juan Bautista, CA plant has been linked to the outbreak but the source of the bacteria still hasn´t been found.
One person has died (a 77 year old Wisconsin woman) and at least 113 people have been sickened in 21 states.
