Jamestown Fire Quickly Extinguished

Sonora, CA — C.D.F. officials report a fire caused by a blown transformer was quickly extinguished at 18329 Golden Oaks Drive across from Buckbrush in the Jamestown area.

The initial report of the fire was made at approximately 10:30am. Power lines are reportedly down in the area. P.G.& E. has been contacted. The majority of the responding units has been recalled.

No other details are available at this time.
