Inmate Stabbed At Sierra Conservation Center

Jamestown, CA — A 53 year old Hispanic inmate was stabbed in the Tuolumne Unit recreation yard Monday.

The inmate was air-lifted to a Modesto hospital where he is recovering from a stab wound to his upper arm, upper chest and side. He is listed in stable condition.

All southern Hispanic inmates housed in the Level Three Tuolumne Unit remain on lockdown pending an investigation.
