Calaveras Board Accepts Employee Contract

San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County employees will receive a three and a half percent pay raise thanks to a new contract approved by the Board of Supervisors Monday.

The cost of living increase was just one in a series of perks included in the two year contract.

Also Monday, the board agreed to cut Habitat for Humanity a break when it comes to development fees. Community Development Agency Director Stephanie Moreno says Habitat Calaveras has a number of affordable housing sites to be developed in the county.

And on Monday, the board appointed numerous people to vacancies on various county committees and commissions.
