Sonora, CA — CDF and Tuolumne County fire officials hope to have a 100 acre vegetation fire on Highway 108 contained shortly.
The blaze is located on the south side of the highway near Tulloch Road. Reports indicate the fire was started when a truck towing a trailer had a mechanical malfunction, causing debris to hit the grass and ignite the fire.
No damage to structures has been reported.
