Keith Alton Brunson passed away Sunday, October 9th in Placerville, CA. Keith was raised in Sonora, moving to Stockton While he was in high school. After returning from his service in the Army, he worked in the banking industry for nearly 40 years, including El Capitan Bank. He returned to Sonora to enjoy his retirement, where he was involved in several community organizations. Mr. Brunson is survived by his four children; daughter, Julie Donner, husband Jim, of Placerville; sons, Keith Brunson and Michael Brunson, wife Jean of Sacramento; son Douglas Brunson of Tucson, AZ. He is also survived by eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren; brother, Wayne Brunson of La Verne; sister, Ruth Brunson of Cameron Park. He was preceded in death by his sister, Sandra Chiappe, and parents, Albert and Irene Brunson.
