San Andreas, CA — The Calaveras County Water District is asking some of its customers to conserve water by cutting back on outside watering.
The district says water use is exceeding the district´s ability to deliver water effectively.
The request is for the communities of Jenny Lind, Rancho Calaveras and La Contenta.
The district says it appreciates the voluntary cooperation in the lower county region during this extended dry period and excessive heat.
