Jamestown, CA — A late Sunday afternoon fire caused minor damage to a deck at the historic Jamestown hotel.
C.D.F.-Tuolomne County Fire Marshall Kary Hubbard reports the fire was caused by a careless smoker. It was extinguished with the help of the owner.
A small portion of the deck has been removed due to the fire. There were no injuries.
