Sonora, CA — If you spotted a California Highway Patrol helicopter or law enforcement vehicles en masse this morning, you were witnessing Operation Jackpot.
Headed up by the Tuolumne County Sheriff´s Department, Operation Jackpot is a day long operation targeting mid-level drug dealers in the county.
Nine agencies including police departments from Sonora, Angels Camp and Oakdale are taking part in the operation. In addition officials from child welfare agencies and animal control are joining in the sweep.
