Sonora, CA — According to CAL FIRE´s Dennis Townsend the current burn restrictions, initiated during the southern California fires due to a shortage of Mother Lode resources, will be lifted effective 8am today.
Valid burn permits must be obtained and they will be in effect through December 3, the designated end of the 2007 fire season.
Please take note, though, that today has been declared a “NO BURN” day in the Mother Lode due to air quality conditions.
