Board To Make Trinitas Golf Course Decision

San Andreas, CA — Tuesday the Calaveras County Board of Supervisors will consider adding a sprawling golf course into the environmental review on the proposed Ridge at Trinitas project.

Trinitas developers are proposing to build a lodge and 13-home gated community around their existing 18-hole golf course. Currently the course is not subject to any review since it was built prior to the EIR´s Notice of Preparation.

Supervisor Tom Tryon says anything relating to the project should be included in the EIR.

Also Tuesday, the Board will make its final decision on the proposed Saddleback Hills subdivision in San Andreas. At their last meeting, supervisors indicated unanimous support for the 133-home project on Calaveritas Road.

The board meets at 9 a.m. Tuesday at the County Government Center in San Andreas.
