San Andreas, CA — Calaveras County is looking for money to assist in developing community plans.
Community Development Director Stephanie Moreno says she learned of the $500,000 grant through the Local Government Commission. $150,000 of that is actually a loan.
The money can be used for General Plans and community plans, both of which the county is in the process of updating and developing.
Tuesday the board informally gave Moreno the approval to seek the grant, which has a deadline of July 16.
