Sanders Cops To Plea Deal In Embezzlement Case

San Andreas, CA — Monday in Calaveras County Superior Court David Kent Sanders pleaded “no contest” to a single misdemeanor embezzlement charge of taking a county owned eight horsepower Honda engine and putting used county tires on his personal pickup truck.

According to the Stockton Record, Sanders must pay $496 in fines, perform 100 hours of community service work and also serve three years probation. As part of the plea deal, felony grand theft charges have been dropped.

Sanders is the vehicle repair shop supervisor for Calaveras County.
