Update: PG&E Power Outage Near Jamestown

Update at 8:40am: While initially PG&E hoped to have power restored early this morning following an incident on Jamestown Road, the new estimate is 3:30pm. Jamestown Road is currently blocked near the downed tree, so you will want to avoid the area.

Original story posted at 6:28 am: Jamestown, CA — PG&E reports that 23 customers are without electricity in the Jamestown area.

The CHP indicates that powerlines went down across Jamestown Road near Johnny Avenue at around 1am. No additional information is immediately available. PG&E hopes to have power restored within the next hour.

Be prepared for some activity in the area.
