San Andreas, CA — The Jacksonville Rd. – Kanaka Drive vegetation fire in Calaveras County has been contained by CAL FIRE crews.
The fire covered three-quarters of an acre. Cause has been listed as spontaneous combustion.
CAL FIRE responded with a battalion chief, three engines, one water tender, two hand crews, a bulldozer and a helicopter.
No injuries have been reported.
