Stanislaus National Forest Offices Will Begin Offering Fuelwood Permits

Sonora, CA — Beginning Monday, March 26th the Stanislaus National Forest will begin issuing this year´s Personal Use Fuelwood Permits.

Each is valid from April 1, through November, depending on road conditions. Although the Personal Use Fuelwood season begins April 1, some Forest Service roads will remain temporarily closed until drier conditions render them passable without causing damage to resources.
