San Andreas, CA — The Volunteer Center of Calaveras County is going global – online that is.
The group started a website that is now up and running and according to organizers, going strong.
The website was actually launched about three months ago but the group is now making the push to let people know where to go to make a difference in their communities.
The Volunteer Center is partnering with the Blue Mountain Community Resource Center for use of the site.
Featured on the site is a volunteer opportunities page where organizations can post their volunteer needs.
