Milazzo Named Mother Lode Bank President And C.O.O.

Sonora, CA — Chuck Milazzo has been named the new president and chief operating officer of Mother Lode Bank.

Milazzo will succeed Pete Johnson who will now serve as chief executive officer.

Milazzo brings more than 40 years of local and national banking experience to Mother Lode Bank. Milazzo is a former president of the Calaveras County Chamber of Commerce. He´ll be responsible for executing the bank´s growth and expansion plans.

Milazzo says he is impressed by the bank´s superlative growth. In just two and a half years of operation the bank has accumulated $60 million in assets. He is hopeful of expanding Mother Lode Bank to the east side of Sonora. Additional plans call for expansion into Calaveras and Amador Counties.

Mother Lode Bank has already established a loan office in Murphys which includes an ATM and night depository.

Milazzo resides in Murphys.
