N.W.S. Issues Winter Storm Warning

Sonora, CA — More winter weather is headed towards the region as the National Weather Service has issued a storm warning that will go in effect at 6pm Thursday and continue until 6pm Friday.

Wind gusts up to 50 mph are possible over the high terrain of the Sierra Nevada which could result in blowing snow and poor visibility. Snow levels are expected to fall to around 2,500 ft., with the heaviest precipitation expected Friday morning.
