East Coast Pediatrician Joins Mark Twain St. Joseph’s Hospital Staff

San Andreas, CA — Dr. Douglas MacGregor has joined the active medical staff at Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospial to specialize in pediatric medicine.

MacGregor comes from the Yale New Haven Children´s Hospital in Connecticut, a hospital recognized as a pioneer in the field of pediatrics.

MacGregor received his medical degree and completed his internship and residency at the New York University Medical Center.

MacGregor commented that “I came to Calaveras County to leave behind the congestion of the Northeast Corridor and relocate my family here on the West Coast. I bring to the families of Angels Camp dedication to practice excellent pediatric medicine based on 29 years of experience, including 14 years of practice as a specialist in childhood cancer and blood disease and 11 years in general pediatrics.”

MacGregor will practice at the Angels Camp Family Medical Center where he can be reached at (209) 736-0813.

Stated Mark Twain St. Joseph´s Hospital President Feliciano Jiron, “We are very privileged to bring Dr. MacGregor to Calaveras County. Besides his specialty in pediatrics, he also has a Fellowship in Pediatric Hematology-Oncology including 14 years of knowledge and experience and 11 years in general pediatrics.”
