San Andreas, CA — According to CAL Fire Battalion Chief Chris Jensen, a fire was avoided Sunday despite a downed transmission line in Calaveras County.
The incident occured at 826 Foothill Rd. in Poker Flat off O´Byrnes Ferry Rd. The resident thought a mobile home had exploded but it proved to be the downed line that had arcked and drooped into the water.
