Officials Investigating Early Morning Fire Involving Stolen Truck

Groveland, Ca — At 6:27am, the California Highway Patrol was dispatched to a report of a vehicle fire on Cherry Oil Rd. near Camp Mather.

When officers arrived on scene, they found a burned-out Ford F350 truck that had been recently stolen out of Jamestown.

Officer Tom Wills says no arrests have been made in connection, but officers did speak with three individuals who were walking in the vicinity of the truck. The case remains under investigation.
