Mokelumne Hill, Ca — An Ione man was injured as a result of a collision near Mokelumne Hill Tuesday evening.
According to the CHP, 17-year-old Derek Hardie of West Point was traveling southbound on Hwy 49 and turned east at the Highway 26 intersection.
His vehicle collided with 34-year-old Todd Cook of Ione who was traveling northbound on Hwy 49. Cook was taken to Doctors Medical Center in Modesto for minor injuries, while Hardie was reportedly not injured.
The accident was reported at 6:30pm.
