Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee Enters 59th Year

Tuolumne, Ca — The town of Tuolumne´s heritage will be on display through the weekend as part of the 59th annual Tuolumne Lumber Jubilee.

The four day festival in downtown Tuolumne will open at three o´clock this afternoon with carnival rides for the kids.

The Queen Coronation will begin at six o´clock on Friday night at the Tuolumne Memorial Hall. Candidates include Sarah Corby, Kendra Munson, Jennifer Ellis and Amber Rasmussen.

An estimated 50 entrants are scheduled to take part in Saturday morning´s parade which will begin at 11am. This year´s Grand Marshall is Richard Bernido. Other Saturday activities include a tractor show, carnival, soap box derby, tug-of-war, horseshoe tournament, arm wrestling and live music.

Sunday´s festivities begin with an Interdenominational Church Service at 9am at Tuolumne Park. Logging demonstrations and competitions begin at noon.
