Sonora, CA– The Bombay restaurant at 301 S Washington St is surrounded by firefighters and smoke is billowing out smothering downtown Sonora.
According the the restaurant owner the fire started in the kitchen hallway. The Koto restaurant adjacent to the building also appears to be involved.
Washington Street has been shut down from William to Church for a minimun of two hours time according to Sonora police department as fire crews work to contain the fire.
