Icy Roads Continue To Thwart Traffic

Sonora, CA — C.H.P. Officer Mike Remmel is reporting a school bus is off the side of Big Hill Rd. leaning against a tree.

None of the children or the driver have been injured.

The incident was caused by icy conditions.

In addition the C.H.P. is reporting a big rig spin out due to ice on Parrotts Ferry Rd. near the Marble Quarry. No other details are available at this time.

Motorists driving at excessive speeds have been reported on Parrotts Ferry Rd. The C.H.P. reminds people about the dangers of "black" ice on the roadways.
