C.H.P.’s Wild Monday Recap

Sonora, CA — Monday, December 7 was anything but an ordinary day for Tuolumne County C.H.P. officers.

99 calls were received. On an average day that number would be only 21. Officers responded to 15 accidents. On a normal day Tuolumne County registers less than one accident.

Of the 15 accidents there were no serious injuries reported and not a single motorist/passenger was hospitalized.

This morning Caltrans is sanding the main highways but not the auxiliary roads. Driving with great caution and awareness are the key words today according to Officer Mike Remmel.
