Sonora, CA — Due to the inclement weather of this week the Upper Cow Creek Underburn scheduled for the Summit Ranger District has been canceled.
According to Pat Kaunert from the Stanislaus National Forest the turn was to cover 668 acres with a low-intensity fire approximately three miles northeast of Strawberry and Pinecrest in the Punch Bowl area of Upper Cow Creek.
The Stanislaus National Forest will rescheduled the burn at a later date.
