H1N1 Virus Preparedness To Highlight Supervisors Meeting

San Andreas, CA — Today there will be a minute order for the Calaveras County supervisors to authorize the County Health Services Agency Director to move forward in the battle against the H1N1 virus (Swine Flu). 

The authorization will allow the Director to sign an agreement between  Calaveras County and the California Department of Public Health to allocate Centers for Disease Control and Prevention, Public Health Emergency Response Phase One and Two Funds.

There will also be a resolution authorizing an agreement between the county and the California Department of Veterans Affairs to participate in the Medi-Cal Cost Avoidance Program for the 2009/10 fiscal year.

Also on today’s schedule a closed session dealing with the county’s existing litigation with Michael and Michelle Nemee regarding the county ordered closure of the Trinitas Golf Course in Valley Springs.

Today’s meeting will get underway at nine o’clock at the Government Center.
