Yosemite Fires Continue To Grow

Yosemite, CA — The Grouse Fire has grown to 1,163 acres and the Harden Fire is up to 520 acres in Yosemite National Park.

The Grouse Fire is three miles southwest of Yosemite Valley and smoke is causing some delays on the Wawonna Rd. and Glacier Point Rd.

The Harden Fire is on the north side of the park and has caused the closure of some select trails in the area. Officials are managing the fires for ecological benefit, and do not have a timeline as to how long they will continue to burn.
